Apparently this area is called, "Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse." There have been urban explorers who have gone inside. See Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse: Recon and Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse. It appears that most of the complex of building have decayed and are fairly dangerous.
